VDA 6.3
Introduction:
VDA 6.3 is a German quality standard for process audits and a part of the VDA (Verband der deutschen Automobilindustrie e.V.) family of standards. VDA 6.3 is an excellent tool for Process Audits within the automotive industry. It is a guideline for performing process audits. It provides information on the significance and application scope of a process audit over the entire product realization cycle in the areas of Manufacturing and Service. It defines the audit process, the criteria for evaluation of the process audit results and the requirements of the processes.
Purpose
To enable an objective assessment of the quality capability for specific products/product groups and their processes.
Objective
To understand the requirements of process audit and to perform them with a view to improve the processes to continually meet the increasing customer requirements.

Awareness Training :
This one day training provides an element-wise interpretation of the requirements of the VDA 6.3 standard.
Purpose & Outcome
The purpose of this basic awareness course is to explain the requirements of the VDA 6.3 standard.
By the end of the course the delegates would be able to:
• Understand the requirements of the standard
• Gain a fair idea about the gaps in their existing processes
• Relate the requirements to those of the ISO/TS 16949 standard.
Internal Auditor Training.
The VDA 6.3 needs highly skilled auditors who not only understand auditing but also are knowledgeable about the process being audited. The two day training covers concepts of auditing in line with the requirements of the VDA 6.3. The participants are expected to be knowledgeable about the requirements of the standards and have work experience in the product realization processes of the organization.

• To provide in-depth knowledge of the audit process and evaluation of audit results.
