Mr. Ashutosh Pahuja is graduate in Mechanical Engineering from IASE University. He has done a Diploma in Instrument technology from Indo Swiss training Institute, a highly reputed Diploma established with the collaboration of Swiss Government. He has also done a Post Graduate Diploma in Management from Symbiosis.

Ashutosh is a Certified Six Sigma Green belt From Delphi Corporation USA, A certified Internal Auditor for ISO TS 16949 from U.L. and an IRCA-ISO lead Auditor.

Ashutosh has nearly 8 Years of Experience in different capacities with the last Assignment with Gates India Pvt. Ltd. as Area Manager-Manufacturing, a Hose manufacturing Leader worldwide. Prior to this he has worked with Delphi Automotives as a lead Manufacturing Engineer.

During his stay at Gates India he has been involved in implementation of Gates Production System which is in line with Toyota Production System. He has contributed in OEE improvement more than 15% & took it from 56% to 72% & further Improving. Fully involved in TPM Implementation, Standard Work Implementation, SMED etc. As a Manufacturing Manager he was responsible for the Overall Productivity, Quality Improvement & Expansion. He contributed by bringing the FCPPM (Customer Complaints) below 80 in YTD 2008 against 260 PPM in 2007.

At Delphi Automotives he was a strategic member of a team to bring down manufacturing cost and contributed by doing a Six Sigma Project resulting in tangible Savings above US$200K for General Motors North America. He was awarded the Fish Award by the Delphi President for improving a bottleneck Breakdown machine. He also coordinated at Asia Pacific Level as an IMCIP (indirect material Cost Improvement Plan) & MEIT (Manufacturing Expense improvement task) coordinator for the Plant. This resulted in Annualized Savings of above US$300K each.

Currently at TQM International Ashutosh has been working on the Nano Project with Tata Motors. The project “Challenge 100” is for Nano Suppliers PPM reduction to 100 PPM & requires lot of extensive work on supplier development, in terms of Pre SOP & Post SOP activities. The project is targeted towards improvement in Quality & Reliability of Nano supplier parts & requires him to work with Tata Nano suppliers such as: Bosch, Caparo, JBMA, Anand Nishikava, Sigma Freudenberg NOK, Rasandik, TACO-IPD, Kinetic etc.
