B.G.Verma 1971 Mechanical Engineer from Delhi started career with Ordinance Factory Jabalpur and worked in vendor development area.

In 1978 he joined Escorts Limited (MSD) which was later taken over by Yamaha Motor Company-Japan and worked till Mar. 2000 in areas like process engg., Industrial engg., systems, supplier up-gradation and consolidation where he did various improvement projects (productivity increase, effective cost control, plant layouting) and supported more than 50 suppliers with effective and efficient good manufacturing practices. During this period he practiced TPM with YMC team on implementing TPM pillars.

He worked with Tata Motor Limited in project “challenge 100 PPM” for more than 3 years and assisted Tata Motor's key suppliers (like Sona Koyo, Amtek Auto, Minda Industries, Rasandik, Jai Bharat Maruti Limited , Rico Auto, Exide Batteries, Shivani Locks, Bosch etc.) Where he provided support to these suppliers by establishing quality standards, reduction in in-house rejection, improving process capability, application & implementation of Poka Yoke, capturing defects & quantifying them correctly, filtering root cause from possible & probable causes through actual validation, developing and implementing innovative solutions and daily management discipline implementing 5-S activities.

Currently in TQMI he is SPD business vertical head and has supported several organizations in systems and providing support to upgrade suppliers.

Being IRCA Certified lead Auditor he has also provided support on Management systems to over 200 companies including some of the known Indian Industries such as Maruti Udyog Limited, Motorola suppliers, Delhi Metro Rail Corporation, LPS suppliers, Railways suppliers, NALCO, Hero Honda, NTPC, Schnieder Electric & their dealers and many others.
