D. K. Dubey is head of South India operation of TQM International and currently Account Manager for TATA NANO Supplier Quality Management program. He is a mechanical engineer with 10 years of hands on industrial experience and 14 years of consulting experience. His ability to translate various quality concepts into real life application to deliver results differentiates him from others. He is a certified “Master Black Belt” and was instrumental in TQMI collaboration with Motorola University and customization of programs suiting to specific needs of clients.

He had privilege to chair sessions at first congress of Asian Network of Quality (ANQ) in 2003 at Beijing. There are two papers to his credit- first “Customer Value Management through Six Sigma” presented ANQ Congress- Beijing (2003) and second “How to Make Six Sigma Work for You” at second ANQ congress-Delhi(2004). Few important study missions were organized by him, one to Toyota Kirloskar Motor- Bangalore and other to Toyota Kirloskar Auto Parts-Bangalore and the dearest to him was TQM-TPM-TPS Mission to Japan.

He has managed some of prestigious customer accounts like:

• Supplier Quality Management to deliver target line quality and field quality for TATA NANO car.
• PPM & Warranty Reduction for INDICA and INDIGO car manufacturing lines at TATA MOTORS.
• Customer Value Management to improve market share of a selected product of GAIL India.
• Six Sigma at IBM Global Services India, Siemens Information processing Services, LASON India, INFOSYS, ORIENT CEMENT, VSNL.
• Lean management system at KSB PUMPS, KANTHAL SANDVIK ASIA, RANGSONS ELECTRONICS.
• Total Quality Management at HPCL, ARVIND MILLS, MADURA GARMENTS, GAIL India, ITC FOODS.
• Supplier Quality Management at TATA MOTORS, MUL, ESCORTS YAMAHA.

Interactions with Japanese quality professionals like Prof. KUME and Prof. KANO has provided him deeper insight in Quality. This has improving by regular training and active interactions with customer teams while executing project.

He brings with him a decade of industry experience where he had managed and co-coordinated production, installation and field deployment of complex Air Surveillance RADAR Systems and Satellite Communication Systems. He had been instrumental in absorption of technology from West European and North American organizations. He has hands on experience in Process Standardization and QC Circle facilitation. He has been member of various cross functional team working on quality cost accounting, value engineering, quality and technology up gradation of systems working in the field.

Training, getting trained and development of new programs as per customer need is part of his profession.
