M. L. GULATI

Mr. M. L. GULATI (MLG) is a Mechanical engineer from B I T S, PILANI with over 37 years of experience in industry.

He is a certified Six Sigma Black Belt with TQMI - Bluefire Partners Inc. He is qualified Lead auditor of QMS and EMS. He is also IEMA approved Lead Tutor for Advanced EMS Auditing Course. He was closely associated with Prof. Tsuda of Japan, in TQM applications in industry. He has been a Senior Assessor in the external assessments for the CII-EXIM Award. He is also a qualified Trainer for Motorola University Six Sigma Green Belt and Black Belt trainings. For Six Sigma implementation he has assisted clients like Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd., Indian Oil Corporation Ltd., Videsh Sanchar Nigam Ltd., Arvind Mills Ltd. and National Thermal Power Corporation Ltd., - PMI.

MLG has worked with Hindustan Motors (Automobile & earthmoving equipment Divisions) and National Engineering Industry within a Birla Business House for 37 years. Starting as industrial engineer for the first seven years he moved to the quality function. He was responsible for design and implementation of various quality initiatives like QMS, EMS, customer value management, daily management, business process reengineering, breakthrough improvement and policy management etc. in his organisation.

Mr. Gulati is working with TQM international as a Sr. counselor since October 2000,and has guided clients like Coca Cola, Mahindra & Mahindra, HCL Technologies, Honda Siel, Honda motor cycles & scooters Ltd, Bharti Telenet Ltd., NALCO, Mazagaon Docks, Arvind Mills Ltd, DCM Textiles Gates India, Delhi Public School Patna, and Motherson Sumi, CPA Global, DLF, NTPC, Enka Vikas, Escorts, HPCL. His industrial experience helps him in providing value addition to clients.

He is a qualified assessor for EFQM Model of Business Excellence.
