P. N. Lahane

  • Mr.P.N.Lahane currently holds the position of President at TQM International, for national and overseas operations.
  • Mr. Lahane is a graduate in Mechanical Engineering /Automobile Engineering, with more than   40 years of work experience, in both Public and Private sector. For more than 15 years he is guiding the corporate sector companies for their journey on Total Quality.
  • His work experience includes leading the teams in various companies in functions like marketing, product planning, Development, QA, Supply chain development, manufacturing and Education and training for various levels of improvements.
  • Mr. Lahane started his career in design function with a machine manufacturer, from where he moved to Bharat Electronics Limited, a ministry of defense production undertaking.  After spending a long tenure at BEL he moved to TQM Division of CII (Confederation of Indian Industries) and finally joining   TQMI in 1995.
  • He has been trained extensively in India and abroad on Total Quality & related areas. This includes training at UK, France, Japan and other places.
  • His support to industries  includes knowledge and practice transfer  to the organizations on  Product Planning, New Product  Development, Adoption of Toyota Production System,  Product and Process improvement, Development of process oriented management systems.
  • He has worked with number of auto OEMs for development of their supplier base in India.
  • He is also closely involved in supporting companies for their journey for Deming Application Prize in India.

He works closely with customer’s New Product Development project teams for developing world class products in India. This includes education, training and project facilitation on turn key basis.

 Following clips indicate facilitation of one of such project for a key player in automotive field for their new benchmark vehicle platform.

The clients assisted by him include Tata Motors Ltd, Maruti-Suzuki, Yamaha, Mahindra & Mahindra , Eicher Motors, Hindustan Motors,  Tata International Limited, NTPC, BHEL, HPCL, Mahindra International Trucks Ltd., ITC-Foods Division, Asian Paints, VIP Industry, Carrier- Aircon, Honda Motor  Company, and many others.

He currently operates from TQMI - HQ at Delhi.
