Subbaramaiah is a postgraduate in Chemistry from Sri Venkateswara University (1973), M.B.A. from Kerala University (1988) and M.S. in Quality Management from BITS, Pilani.

He is a qualified Trainer for Motorola University Six Sigma Green Belt & Design for Six Sigma (DFSS) trainings. During the tenure with TQMI, he has trained Six Sigma green belts both in manufacturing and service industries.  He has been successfully guiding the projects for Six Sigma certification.

Subbaramaiah became a part of TQMI Team in 2005 and is currently the Senior Counsellor in TQMI.

He started his career with Cable industry (1974-1978) in QA, then worked with the Bureau of Indian Standards (1978-1993), then with SRF Limited (1993-2005) with responsibilities of Quality assurance and Quality improvement in various types of industries.

During the tenure with SRF, he was part of the core team which guided the organization to successfully challenge the Deming Application Prize in 2004.  This effort included design and implementation of various TQM initiatives like 5-S, Daily Management, Problem Solving, Organisational Diagnosis, Policy Management, New product development, vendor quality improvement, etc.  He was also leading the organization’s Problem Solving Teams and guided more than 100 Quality improvement projects.

Subbaramaiah is also a certified Lead Auditor for ISO 9000 Quality System trained by BATALAS, and for Food Safety Management Systems, trained by Foodcert India.  He has wide experience in installing and improving Quality systems in different types of organizations.
