Mr. S. Krishnamurthy has done his M. Sc. in Statistics (specialized in Industrial Quality Control, and Econometrics & Economic Planning) through Madras University, passed in First Class and with more than 45 years of work experience. Krishnamurthy is a Registered Lead Auditor (IRCA, UK), Fellow Member of Institute of Standards Engineers (SEI) and Life Member of NIQR.

Krishnamurthy worked for 30 years with Bureau of India Standards (BIS) in various capacities and retired as Senior Director (Management & Systems). He represented as National Secretary on ISO / TC 176 – Technical Committee at the International Level for formulation of Quality System Standards (ISO 9000 series) for 3 years during 1991-93 and contributed for the development of ISO 9000 series of 1994 version. He has 23 years of experience in Product Standardization and Certification in a variety of areas / field of work. He also prepared the books “Guide on Company Standardization” (an SEI Publication) and “Handbook on SQC” (BIS Publication) and the book on ‘Personal Quality’ (Vikas Publications). He also introduced application of SQC Techniques in various industries, particularly, Food Industry , Textiles, Engineering , and Chemicals. He is with TQM International Pvt. Ltd. since May 1993. He provides Training and consultancy on ISO 9000, QS 9000 (TS 16949), OHSAS 18000 , EMS 14000 series , & SQC Projects, development of SQC course material.

He has been extensively trained in India and abroad, including training on Lead Assessor by Batalas Ltd., UK, International Course on Industrial Quality Control by Bouwcentrum International Education, Netherlands, Total Quality Control by APO & JPC, Japan, Certified Quality Engineer by RWTUV, Germany, etc.

His area of specialization includes ISO 9000, QS 9000 (TS 16949), EMS 14000, OHSAS 18000 , SQC, etc.
