Program Participants

Your champions drive Six Sigma in your organization. They have a high level of
accountability and responsibility for Six Sigma Projects. It is their role to remove obstacles that Six Sigma teams may encounter and to conduct rigorous reviews to monitor progress. They focus on action and ensure that projects are completed successfully. Your choice of champions, and their preparation, is critical to the overall success of Six Sigma efforts.

Program Overview

Champions learn how to manage Six Sigma projects effectively. In this training, they focus on Six Sigma tools and methods, and review situations where the tools can be applied within improvement projects. The program content provides a high-level view of the training delivered to Black Belt / Green Belt candidates.

Champions will be able to :
  • describe the importance and impact of Six Sigma quality,
  • define their roles and responsibilities,
  • define the DMAIC model* and continuous improvement tools,
  • determine the appropriate application for / improvement tools and methods, and
  • use tools and templates for project implementation.
Program Length Two or three days
Location This program is available for onsite delivery at a location of your choice.
   

*The DMAIC model is a systematic method for analyzing and improving business processes.
