Condolence Messages

Percy Pereira
Counsellor, Mumbai

From Mr. P.N.Lahane

Dear All,
It is a moment of sadness for all of us.
News of the sad demise of our colleague Mr. Percy Pereira has left a void in TQMI team, which will be difficult to fill up. We will all remember a dedicated, committed & ever smiling face of Percy for a long time; it's taking time to believe the news.
I was fortunate enough to have worked with him while he was with Voltas Ltd & then with TQMI all these years. His eagerness to help others & positive attitude towards life had an ever lasting impression on me and others. More than a colleague, Mr. Percy was an excellent human being, ready to help anyone with a smile. We all at TQMI are saddened and shocked by the news of his demise. We pray to God to give strength to his family and close ones in this difficult time.
You can not interfere in God's desire but for sure pray to him for peace and shelter to the departed soul.

We will all remember you Percy & will attempt to be positive in life like you.
Bye then,

Very Sad news,
I had an opportunity to jointly conduct LAT training at Tata International (MP) & Force Motors (Pune). As a tutor I had learnt a lot how to keep THE participants involved in the training programme. He will always be remembered by all of us.
MAY GOD REST HIS SOUL IN PEACE.

Very sad news.
I know Percy as a tutor as I have attended his LAC a decade back.
He has been a favourite for many as his sessions were never boring. Always alive, with wit and humour.

A typical goan, with his unending stories about various incidents, and a penchant for maintaining first name relationship,
Percy,
As a colleague and a friend,
We will miss you ,
May God give you the peace and the shelter in His own benign and compassionate ways.
Bye then,  Percy

Sad news indeed. Percy was no doubt a pillar of TQMI.

Those who underwent his training would always remember him.

Such men are not made very often.

May his soul rest in peace.

Very very sad sudden and unexpected.

“No matter where you go
No matter where we are.
We are 'connected' at hearts, in mind.”
You will be alive with us. May god rest his soul in peace?

Since, I learned of Mr. Percy Pereira's untimely death it has been hard for me to console myself for the loss of a dear colleague. “BIG BOSS” that's what I used to address him, a great friend who was very young by heart and a great human being before anything else. This made it difficult for me until now to share my condolences and feelings.
I have known him since 1997 and he has always been generous, full of life, engaging and a deep human being you can only love and appreciate having a friend and a colleague like him. His bright mind and great heart are a shining example of what humanity is about. I would like to share the grief and sorrow of his family and express to them that many of us, including my wife, miss him also to a great deal. May this sharing of their sorrow help them overcome their and our loss.
As we all know Mr. Pereira has been a great humourous trainer and made all his training programs alive. His grip on QMS standard was unmatchable as he could remember “each word”, “comma”, “full stop”, “page number” etc., and without looking at the standard used to say viz. “GO TO PAGE NUMBER 4, PARAGRAPH 3, 4TH LINE AND LAST SENTENCE” which many people enveyed and asked him to share the art of remembering the standard and he always used to say God is kind to me for giving me good health and memory.
Mr. Pereira's special message to all the participants in every program on the last day - is to “THANK YOUR WIFE”  for all the services, love and affection shown to the husband without any reward as in normal life most of us never thank our wives. This has been practised by many participants and have personally called him back and shared the response of their respective wives and how it brought a big difference in their life.
I don't think anyone in TQMI has spent more time than myself with him in last 14 years.  At times we used to sit hours together at Lonavala in the evening after the training and chat. I do recall one night Mr. Pereria was chatting with me and sharing about his college days, Voltas global expereince, family & children.  It was almost 04:00 am and suddenly we realised that we had forgotten to have dinner that night. We both were hungry and went to the kitchen at Hotel Avion which was closed. With a big request we managed to get some “Gulab Jamuns” and we both ate more than 25 each, which we always cherished whenever we had Gulab Jamuns and we could never break our own record again. He was a great FOODIE.
Mr. Pereira was one of the very few counsellors in TQMI who was very fond of his attire and we always used to compete with each other on “who is wearing a better tie and a shirt” and was a passionate collector of pens and books.
I held the warmest feelings for BIG BOSS,  over and above the respect he commanded as an Intellect and a Trainer. I have learnt a great deal from him which will always remain with me forever.
Bye BIG BOSS !!!! we all MISS YOU !!!
