Satish Ghare is a graduate in Electrical Engineering from I.I.T.Kharagpur1963),  He has undergone two-year part time training for Dip. SQC & OR from Indian Statistical Institute, Mumbai (1973). He is Fellow of Institution of Engineers, India and a Chartered Engineer (India). He is a certified Six Sigma Black-Belt with TQMI - Bluefire Partners Inc.

After retirement since Feb 2002, Satish started training for CII, Mumbai, IEEMA, Mumbai and Other companies, on various Quality subjects such as ISO 9001:2008,  ISO 14000, QS 9000, ISO/TS 16949, Cost of Quality, 5S for Workplace Management, SPC and SQC, Design FMEA and Process FMEA, Internal Auditor Training, Six Sigma Quality, TQM.

He joined KPMG-QR as Auditor on contract and does regular Quality system audits.
He started his career with Steam and Mining Equipment India Pvt. Ltd. (Jan – Aug.1964) as a Sales and Project Engineer.

He worked with Siemens Ltd. (Sept. 1964 – Jan 2002), and retired as General Manager Corporate Quality Systems in Jan 2002. During this period he managed and participated in following assignments :-

• Advising Business divisions in the organization on Process improvement through Process Mapping & Reengineering
• Facilitating the divisions in systematic documentation methodology such as Flow Charting & Responsibility Matrix
• Designing Training modules and conducting training within the organization on subjects such as “Internal Auditor Training” , “Quality in Sales & Marketing” , “Achieving Business Excellence” , “Quality in Vendor Development” , “Quality Cost”, FMEA,
• Development, Administration of the Technical aspects of Quality Program such as SPC; Quality cost control; Vendor Evaluation, etc.

He is registered QMS Lead Auditor with IRCA, UK and is qualified assessor for EFQM model of business excellence.

Satish has been trained extensively in various factories and offices of Siemens in Germany, UK, Singapore, Indonesia, and Thailand.
