- TQMI have involved itself in guiding 3 companies for Deming Prize.
TQMI has been involved with Prof. Y. Washio, Prof. H. Kume, Prof. N. Kano and Prof. Y. Ando in guiding various companies for Deming Application Prize. Recent involvement has been with:
1. Mahindra & Mahindra Tractor Division along with Prof. Washio *
2. SRF Ltd. all businesses along with Prof. Kume. *
3 . Tata Steel – Complete steel business with Prof. Kano and Prof. Ando *
- Mr. Janak Mehta becomes the only Indian to become the Academician of the International Academy for Quality (IAQ) - December 2008 .
- Mr. Janak Mehta CMD, TQMI has been elected to the Board of Directors of IAQ in May 2009.
- Mr Janak Mehta CMD TQMI attended 18th ANQ Congress at Singapore on 22-23 April 2011.
- Mr. Mehata had attended QM Uz-2011, the 4th Annual Quality Forum in Uzbekistan,on April 27-28, 2011, Tashkent, Uzbekistan. Click here for pics of the congress

We are pleased to inform all members of ISQ that Mr Janak Mehta , Founder President ISQ and presently Chair International Relation Committee of ISQ has been unanimously elected as the President of International Academy for Quality (IAQ). IAQ is the highest organization of professionals from the field of quality in the world. Membership is by invitation In 45 year history of the Academy this is the first time a person from region other than USA, Europe and Japan has been elected to this position.
It is an honour to ISQ ,Quality fraternity of Asia and the country.
