He has facilitated various types of industries like Car manufacturing, Earth moving equipment, Electrical sectors, Polyester films, Textile, Glass fiber, Frozen food products, Auto & Non-auto sectors, Nutrients processing, pharmaceutical sectors etc. His core competencies lie with Daily Work Management (DWM), Lean manufacturing, Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), Supplier capability enhancement, Establishing stable and capable processes, empowering people, and handling improvement projects.


He has facilitated clients in developing competency to understand customer requirements [CR] and to establish productive lines with zero defect quality. He has been instrumental in achieving first time right [FTR] quality by improving process capability. Isolating bottleneck operations in workflow that restrict throughput, increase lead time and evaluating & eliminating constraints for optimal utilization of human and capital resources are some of his core competencies.


He has been instrumental in many of the result-oriented consulting projects with various OEMs and their vendors across India. To name few clients are Tata Motors, Mahindra & Mahindra, Atlas Copco, Orient Electricals, Endurance Technologies, Bajaj Electricals, Sterlite Technologies, Garware polyesters, Gabriel, Allana, PepsiCo & TVS group.


As a part of vendor performance improvement, he has implemented Jishu Hozen for various special processes. He has hands on experience in process analysis and formulation of “Mistake proofing systems” capable of preventing potential failure modes of parts. Identifying and improving elements having impact on field quality through “Quality & Reliability engineering techniques” is his core strength. He has used JD Power customer interface information effectively to build in Quality and Reliability in new products and processes.


His active participation in use of Lean concepts such as Work standardization, optimizing workflows, Kaizen, 5S, takt time, cell layout, single piece flow, manpower optimization and line balancing has resulted in line efficiency improvement with many of his clients who could meet customer price targets. He, as an expert, leveraging concrete facts to eliminate root causes by guiding clients through various QC stories. His training programs on Problem solving, QMS, Lean, DWM, TPM etc.., helped various clients to enhance their skills and knowledge.


In his earlier organizations, he provided leadership to Advanced Product Quality Planning process [APQP] teams that could develop and obtain customer approval within customer defined timelines for complex engine components. Most of these components could achieve “Self Certification” status right at the start of production. He managed management representative role [MR] for effective implementation of ISO-9001 and ISO/TS 16949 and was instrumental in effective implementation of QMS at BHARAT FORGE and SHARDLOW INDIA. Having worked on “Protect the Customer [PTC] Initiative” he has nurtured skill of customer relationship management.


He has been directing, motivating and managing the people of various Clients to make high Quality decisions for more than 16 years in TQM International private limited.
