He collects and validates all the essential data of team activities. He then analyzes this data, and helps the team to achieve success by guiding them wherever they need special support. He stays constantly in touch with the leadership group and the project sponsor, and communicates with them about various aspects and progress made. The team leader is very critical to every project as he is the one responsible for getting the work done. He ensures that the project is on track, and will continue to stay on the desired path up till the end. He selects the project team members who are supposed to carry out the task so as to successfully complete the project.
